Fave Looks: Peter Jenson: Fall 14
9.2.2014
Jumping hoops for these adorable retro gems from Peter Jenson. This collection called “Faye” is inspired by actress Faye Dunaway. The Look Book was shot from photo images of the Beverly Hills Hotel, a haven for the world’s famous. Faye Dunaway stayed there after receiving her Academy Award for Network in 1977. Jenson used a lot of symetry to Faye’s iconic rolls such as Network, The Thomas Crown Affair and Mommie Dearest. The collection includes A-line skirts to pencil skirts and blouses with a pussy-bow, as seen in the movie Network. And how cute are these double pearl strand belts, my heart melts for one for sure. From sweet classic heart prints to statement waves to a cute hanger print, which weirdly was inspired by the memorable scene in Mommie Dearest. Jenson once again picked another awesome muse for his collection!
Fave Looks: Marissa Webb Resort
6.5.2014
I usually lean towards the super girly, but when I need a cool gal fix then my turn-to Designer is Marissa Webb. Here she takes sweet prints like gingham and make it edgy. Loving this lavender hazy hue going on here too : )

Fave Looks: Tucker Spring 14
4.8.2014
Tucker by Gaby Basora is known for her whimsy and adorable prints. This season so many of these little dress gems feel like they are straight out of a 90’s romance comedy. I’m a huge fan of this lil black floral number, I can totally see on Joon from Benny and Joon wearing this. In Joon’s days of abstract painting and making Captain Crunch smoothies. Along with the red dress, I am pretty sure Joon wore something similar as well. Great movie btw if you have not seen it. So many great looks in this collection. Oversized leopard print makes your basic skirt not so ordinary. The little red floral print is definitely on my wish list. Especially in this cool girl bomber jacket, perfect modern twist.
