Romance + Party girl. There is no reason why we can’t be both, right? I’m obsessed with 80’s movies…especially Modern Girls….and recently I saw another 80s movie with Virginia Madsen, Fire with Fire, that was filmed right before the movie Modern Girls. Fire with Fire is definitely your 80s romance where Catholic School Girl meets Mr. Rebel Heartthrob……and Modern Girls, is just one night in LA….so amazing.

Musette Monday: Stevie Nicks

I just had to post Stevie in this weeks muse, this weekend we threw a Stevie Nicks bbq. My room-mate adores Stevie, and since it was her birthday, then she gets what she wants right, so a Stevie party it is! I got carried away baking a cake and serving drinks that I forgot to take pictures! But I did get a hold of these little snapshots of me and the miss birthday girl Brittany stevie-fied, I made myself a little floral headband that I think is going to be my new thing…. not sure who Susie is channeling here…but we look gorg anyways!

Musette Monday: a Patriotic Lady

Everyone wants to channel in a little Jackie O, right! A few things I always want to capture from this Patriotic Lady:
1. to wear the scarf in an easy breezy way
2. timeless pieces that never go out of style…the button-up shirt, the knee length skirt, cardigans…
3. yep. big glasses. it’s a necessity.
4. carefree + pulled together all at the same time. yes please. i need some of that!
