I discovered these amazing handbags at the opening of Brooklyn eco boutique “People of the Free Mind”. The Designer Belinda Pasqua of The Sway collection, develops her handbags by using leftover cuts of Leather to minimize waste. Her hangtags, linings, and packaging are all made from recycled paper and cotton. It’s designers like this I want to support…and doesn’t hurt that her handbags are simply STUNNING!!

Bottomless Closet is to help disadvantaged New York City women become self-sufficient through a comprehensive program that begins with business attire and interview preparation and continues with professional development, financial management and personal enrichment. Tis’ the Season.

oh no! it has arrived….WINTER! It’s cold here in NYC! I am in hibernation and fighting that first cold season bug! I have made myself a giant pot of home-made chicken soup, some ginger tea, a stack of mags by my bedside and a bunch of movies to watch in my instant Netflix Queue!
