YES I am still in North Dakota.  Been painting up a storm while I have been up here with my family who live 3 miles from the Canadian border.  There is not much going on here but small town life.  I always feel inspired by that, so opposite of my life back in New York.  I’m having fun being little miss Artist up here, but soon I’ll get that itch to be back the pavement. Which should be any day now…

Musette Monday: Marissa Tomei in Unhook The Stars.

Where party girl meets grunge, Marissa Tomei plays Monica a young single mother in Unhook the Stars.  Tomei’s charachter plays it off well with as she is a young mother who cannot afford much but yet loves her late nights on the town.  Filled with slip dresses, crushed velour, casual hoodies, cropped tees, your classic shearling jacket.  And yes chokers are always the finishing touch of these pulled together girl on the fly outfits, along with some smudged eyeliner and shiny plum lipstick.

Hi there from Fargo.

I have been enjoying some wintery weather here in North Dakota.  I always love the dramatic change from New York to here.  These photos were taken outside my cousins apartment in West Fargo.  It’s great to start out the New Year here, reminds me of how far I have come from 🙂 Excited for what this year holds!
