Musette Monday: 80’s Heather Locklear
4.3.2017
Don’t you ever wish this 80’s work out trend would come back? Always been a fan of Heather Locklear, especially in Melrose Place. Haven’t seen Dynasty yet but it is definitely on my checklist. Loving the side swept hair from the last season of Dynasty.
Musette Monday: Debbie Gibson
9.26.2016
Our favorite girl pop star from the late 80’s and early 90’s! Let’s get lost in her fabulous style. Debbie Gibson was a major trendsetter for her era. But some of these items I want in my closet like right now. Flowers to our jeans, yes please! Painted jeans, yes please! Sheer sleeves to our jackets, like lace or polk-a-dots. Black and white stripes everything, especially with sequin jumpers and the oh so classic derby hat. Check, check and check!

Musette Monday: Dusty Springfield
3.30.2015
Can we talk about this number one pop singer of the 60’s. Just love to cook dinner and put on some Dusty! I really miss the days of East Village Radio and Brian Ferrari’s awesome show 60’s degrees when it was all 60’s girl bands. Although lately I have been getting into Dusty’s album from 1987 Reputation and Rarities. Inspired by her work with the Pet Shop Boys, who I am also a fan of. So not surprised about this new found love! I really want to chanel Dusty’s high hair with a little bow and her cute outfits. And if I could only have her style and her voice. But for now Ill settle for her style. Yes here we go again with the 60’s shift. Love them right now with the peasant sleeves or even a bell.

Musette Monday: Jean Shrimpton
2.16.2015
I am naturally drawn to fashion that is “sweet”. Can’t help myself, pastels, bows, lace and all that magic. Not to hard to find in these lovely photos of Jean Shrimpton. Perfect inspiration as we are hoping for spring to get here soon!
