Fave Looks: Tucker Spring 14
4.8.2014
Tucker by Gaby Basora is known for her whimsy and adorable prints. This season so many of these little dress gems feel like they are straight out of a 90’s romance comedy. I’m a huge fan of this lil black floral number, I can totally see on Joon from Benny and Joon wearing this. In Joon’s days of abstract painting and making Captain Crunch smoothies. Along with the red dress, I am pretty sure Joon wore something similar as well. Great movie btw if you have not seen it. So many great looks in this collection. Oversized leopard print makes your basic skirt not so ordinary. The little red floral print is definitely on my wish list. Especially in this cool girl bomber jacket, perfect modern twist.
Outfit: Modern Leopard Print

I am adoring this modern leopard print dress from Parker that I recently ordered on Shopbop. A little ponte dress is essential for this cold weather, and this dress has a lazer cut hem. A classic with the perfect contemporary touches!

Fave Looks: Tome
9.17.2013
It was like stepping into a ballet performance at the New York Fashion Week Tome presentation. But instead of dramatic dancers the clothes took the stage. A delicious palette of bubble gum and sherbert colors mixed with lots of sheen and sheer. Drapey soft silhouettes that were very modern mixed with the classic voluminous shapes of the 1950’s. I couldn’t help but think of Audrey Hepburn. Not just because of the classic trench coat, but because she used to be a professional ballet dancer. Not sure if that is what the designer’s Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin were going for, but if so…they nailed it!
