Outfit: being casual at Mana Contemporary
9.26.2013
This week I took a little trip to Jersey City in New Jersey to check out the Mana Contemporary Art Museum. I was invited by my friend Michael, and this is the first time hearing about it, and I am glad i did! Set in a very industrial part of Newark giving it a very artsy vibe. Mana is almost like a little art city, not only is there many high ceiling art studios, but an art supply store, framing center, art storage and of course a cafe. With six different exhibitions it is definitely worth taking the time to venture out of the city. Below I took some photos of my favorite pieces from the Pop Culture exhibition and Artist Carole Feuerman. This Sunday, September 29th they are hosting an opening party for the Six Exhibitions from 1-6pm. If you live in the city there will be a free shuttle from Milk Studios starting at 12:30 pm.
