D.I.Y: Crystal Gem Tiara
3.7.2012
I got lot’s of compliments on this little pretty headband i made that I wore during Fashion Week…..I also felt like a little princess in it, which is never a bad thing!
What you need:
~Crystal Plastic Rocks, I discovered these one day exploring the flower district here in New York. I wasn’t quite sure what i would make with them at the time. But I knew I would come up with something….they were too amazing to pass up!
~Glue Gun
~Glue Sticks
~Head band, the metals can hurt but at least you know they won’t break! And when putting much time into a craft project…you wouldn’t want that! Instead of wearing it all day, I’ll just wear them for a night out, or to an event.
~newspaper, duh….unless you want to ruin your table. I am fortunate enough to have a craft table that can be messed up as much as I feel like!
Step 1: Once the glue gun is all heated up I started the first stone right above my ear by glueing just a little bit to the bottom of the stone onto the headband.
Step 2: I continue this all the way around until the other side is even. And then let dry!
And ta da! It’s really simple, and very few things go into it. It’s just a matter of finding those little plastic crystal rocks! If you do not live in New York, I bet Michael’s has them in their floral section? They also remind me of those rocks at the bottom of an aquarium, but not as heavy! They should be super light, you don’t want to wear real rocks on your head!
Cocktail Hour: Strawberry Louboutin Crush
3.6.2012
The perfect cocktail when having the girls over. I prefer not to leave Brooklyn on the weekends, and sometimes not even the house! So I like to lure my friends in with some delicious cocktails…..it’s a good habit, I am sure of it 🙂

Fave Looks: Lauren Moffatt Fall 12
3.5.2012
I’m a fan of when School Girl meets the Fashion world, so upon receiveing the invite to Lauren Moffatt’s Fall 2012 collection and that it would be held at the Old School in downtown New York. I knew it was going to be to my liking. The presentation was broken out to two rooms, the Classroom and the Art Room…..so naturally I strolled down to the Art Room first. Where the models were painting in their pretty girl-like outfits. Keeping true to herself Lauren’s collection was full of flirty prints, such as chevron and adorable dresses, with bows and Peter-Pan Collars!
Really into this hardware bow! And love the fresh take of eyelet paired up with sequins.
A sequin Crop Top with a collar? oh why yes indeed!
A so very cute Chemistry set to go along. Science never looked so good!

BlogLovin Awards
2.28.2012
Oh how much fun is dressing up! I was especially excited to do it this night to support my fellow bloggers for the BlogLovin Awards. I’m mostly all about the color, but I decided to switch things up a bit and wear all black! I felt super glamorous in this black sequined Marti dress! Marti is known for her lux jersey pieces…..and this little gem was defintely lux! To go along with the glammed up look my dear Stylist friend Laura Garwasiuck came by and gave me a fab hair-do!
