Hi friends! Just got back from an amazing weekend in Detroit, suffering a bit from food coma though 🙂 It’s good to be back in New York to my salad and smoothie routine. As much as I love dining out, I prefer cooking at home, it’s nice to know what is going in the food, you know 🙂  Here is a quick snapshot of me arriving in Detroit. My go to airport outfit: high bun, sweater, fancy necklace, skinny jeans, high heels(but comfy) and a good ol big bag like this one from Rebecca Minkoff.  I am absolutely terrified of flying, but I do love airports. Which is why it is important for me to dress up a lil and enjoy the scene at the Airport Lounge! Crazy, crazy Monday!!  I haven’t even left the house yet so I have no idea what the weather is like today.  This was shot a few days ago with beautiful weather on top of my rooftop here in Brooklyn.  I am super excited for the week ahead, starting Wednesday with the IFB conference!!  Will I be seeing you there?! I always look forward to this event, meeting so many fun and sweet Fashion Bloggers.  It seems like this Fashion Week around there is so many Blogger events!!!  It’s going to get crazy! ….okay back to my checklist xoxo ~Lacee

It’s been awhile since i wore a pair of jeans. I am more of a skirts + dresses kind of girl.  At the Evolving  Influence conference during Fashion week we each got to be measured for the new Levis Curve ID and be gifted a pair of jeans.  I was fitted as a Demi Curve, and i love love love them!  Now I am a jeans girl! I even found a way to get all dressed up in them for a dinner party!

these gold candies I found made the presentation so pretty!  When in the champagne the foil floats to the top and looks ever so pretty!

since it was a dinner party with just girls, we went all out with ladylike touches….here we cut out the first letter of each guest out of magazines and used as place cards. so darling!

Behind The Music: Levi’s Fader Fort.

Here at SXSW in Austin, the weather has been lovely! Except for today, how is it that it is warmer in New York?  My favorite part about SXSW are the Day Parties–and the Levi’s Fader Fort is by far my fave. The Very Best were nothing but the best yesterday, so fun to see live!  Not only are you soaking in the sun, fashion outfit watching, with unlimited amounts of SoCo–you can also embellish your own Levi’s.  They have a whole set up station–which looked really really  fun!
